1. About the Admissions Office 

Admissions Office (ADO) of the City University of Macau (CityU) is on of the five administrative departments within the Academic Division (ACD). It is an integrated management body that implements student recruitment and admission activities. Its major responsibility is to arrange and launch the activities in order to promote the education philosophy and prominent features of CityU.

The student recruitment and admission activities implemented by ADO are in accordance to CityU’s policies, regulations and development orientation. Each year, ADO presents a detailed student recruitment proposal, sends the proposal to relevant governmental department for approval, and implements the recruitment and admission activities, including early admission of excellent students of partner institutes. ADO is also responsible for training and sending staff to present career talks. It launches recruitment activities and individual admission plans for programs offered by CityU. The edition and distribution of student admission information and brochures are also parts of ADO’s duties. It incorporates a variety of media to promote CityU’s admission policies and plans. The promotion will expand the source of potential students for the university (e.g. from more partner institutes).
